  Adam Michael has this to say “This a classic smelling rose obtained by CO2 extraction, more similar in smell to the absolute than the steam distilled essential oil. This is largely because of the prized phenylethyl alcohol which is hardly present in the steam distilled offering but present at just over 47% in this Rose Otto CO2 material. Rose Otto CO2 select extract is of a waxy consistency and will require warmth prior to use. A stunning fresh rose material that blends well with carnation, geranium, useful for improving soft floral notes, green notes, and a must have material for building rose accords.
