  Petitgrain oil has a soft, herbal, and floral like the aroma similar to crushed orange leaves. Linalool notes make this a great oil for blending with Lavender. It's believed that, through direct inhalation, Petitgrain oil can alleviate stress and soothe away depressed emotions. Interestingly, Petitgrain is derived from the same tree as Neroli. The flowers of the tree are cultivated to produce Neroli while the leaves and twigs are used to make Petitgrain.
