Fennel (Foeniculum Vulgare) used for our Actipone® is mainly cultivated in Europe. The plants are harvested, cleaned and if necessary comminuted. Fennel seeds are extracted by isopropanol. The lipophilic extract is prepared in a mixture of water, glycerin, solubilizer and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Actipone® Fennel GW contains the lipophilic ingredients of approx. 160 g dried, resp. approx. 1200 g fresh seeds. Dried plant material - Actipone® Fennel GW - ratio: 0.16 : 1. Fresh plant material - Actipone® Fennel GW - ratio: 1.20 : 1 Actipone® Fennel GW shows skin firming properties (in vitro).
