Use: Sweet almond oil is widely used in lotions, lotion bars, balms and soap; it saponifies easily and produces a mild soap with very good lather. This oil can be used as a large percentage of the fats or as an oil added at trace. It s recommended that you add just one ounce per pound of fats to the soap batch. Some users find that this oil goes rancid quickly, others feel they have no problem with the shelf life of almond oil. Sweet almond should be stored in a cool place or refrigerated. SAP value: 192.5. INCI: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil.

Extrapone® Almond Milk PF New PS
Odor: characteristic
Use: Extrapone® Almond Milk PF New PS contains the extract and the oil of Prunus amygdalus Batsch. and milk powder prepared in glycerin and water. Sweet almonds used for our Extrapone® are mainly cultivated in USA and Europe. After harvesting of the seeds the oil is obtained by extraction and following refining. The bran is obtained during the production of almond oil. The almond bran is extracted with a blend of water and ethanol and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation and thereby the ethanol is completely removed. Milk powder is the spray-dried concentrated nonfat milk from cows living in Ireland. The concentrated extract, the oil and the milk powder are prepared in a mixture of glycerin, water, glycols, solubilizer and preservatives. 1 kg Extrapone® Almond Milk PF New PS contains the hydrophilic and lipophilic ingredients of approx. 250 g sweet almond seeds and the constituents of approx. 200 g nonfat milk. Fresh plant material - Extrapone® Almond Milk PF New PS - ratio: 0.25 : 1 Milk - Extrapone® Almond Milk PF New PS - ratio: 0.2 : 1

Sweet Almond Oil (Pressed Carrier)
Odor: characteristic
Use: Our 100% natural carrier oil, Sweet Almond oil, has a light, characteristic, nutty aroma with a light consistency, making it a favorite carrier among many. Carrier oils are often used to dilute essential oils and absolutes before they are applied to the skin in massage and aromatherapy. It's important to note that carrier oils are not suitable for diffusers. Sweet Almond oil is a gentle, universal carrier oil used throughout the food, nutritional supplement, and cosmetic industries. It's known to be rich in vitamin A, E, and B, as well as Oleic (C18:1) and Linoleic (C1822).

SWEET ALMOND OIL
Odor: characteristic
Use: Almond Oil, Sweet An oil expressed from the nuts of the sweet almond tree. It is used as an emollient in skin creams and is also used to soften ear wax. The tree is native to SW Asia but is widely grown in warm regions for its nuts. Almond trees grow to an average height of 7 m; they have attractive pink flowers and are grown for ornament in cooler regions. The sweet almond oil, or Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis is pressed from the ripe seeds (nut) of the almond tree. It is a versatile, carrier oil, good for all skin types. Ground almonds make for excellent natural abrasives. Moist with Sweet Almond Oil, ground almonds help replenish the oils lost from the skin during the cleansing process; being rather soft in texture, they produce a gentle massaging effect in exfoliators. Almond Oil is very lubricating and can relieve itching and inflammation; a wonderful, natural moisturizer for 'dishpan' hands and chapped skin.
