Notes: Polyurethane-24 is a complex polymer prepared via the following multi-step synthesis. First, isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) is reacted with three different polyols: Poly(1,4-Butanediol)-30, 1,4-Butanediol, and dimethylol butanoic acid. This pre-polymer is then reacted with a reagent formed by the reaction between Aminpropyl Triethoxysilane and lauryl acrylate. The resulting polymer is subsequently chain extended by reaction with isophorone diamine in aqueous solution to produce Polyurethane-24
