Odor: characteristic Use: Silsurf®Di-1510 is used in various applications where lubricity, softness and conditioning are needed. The typical applications used include personal care, household products, textiles and leather industry.
Due to its hydroxyl functionality, Silsurf®Di-1510 can be co-reacted with organic epoxides, isocyanates, esters etc. to modify polymeric systems. It provides the typical benefits of silicones that include slip, mar resistance, anti-blocking, softness and improved temperature stability of the finish polymer. |

Odor: characteristic Use: Silsurf®Di-2012 is used in various applications where lubricity, softness and conditioning are needed. The typical applications used include personal care, household products, textiles and leather industry.
Silsurf®Di-2012 is also effective in foaming various alcohols, such as ethanol and isopropanol. For this reason it is incorporated into alcohol based foaming hand sanitizers, where it also provides ancillary benefits such as moisturizing, emollience, lubrication and gives a less dry or tacky feel.
