Odor: characteristic
Use: Ciclopirox has broad-spectrum action against dermatophytes, yeast, and fungi. Its anti-inflammatory activity has been demonstrated in human polymorphonuclear cells. This agent also inhibits prostaglandin and leukotriene synthesis. Ciclopirox olamine was effective and safe for mild-to-moderate dandruff.
