Use: Considered to be a second messenger involved in all of the body's biochemical reactions, calcium is the trace element which triggers the differentiation phases in epidermal cells. Calcidone, a combination of calcium and L-PCA, helps the skin to carry out or regain its role as a barrier by stimulating the cell differentiation process and activating the synthesis of total epidermal lipids, notably ceramides. Calcidone also has strong anti-MMP1 activity and consequently preserves the skin's integrity.

Calcium Pidolate

Use: Calcium Pidolate is a remarkably soluble salt which remains soluble across a broad spectrum of pH. In combination with Pidolic Acid, which is a composing element of the collagen matrices, it can play a double role in reinforcing the skeleton and the supporting tissue.
