Guduchi has been traditionally used in Ayurveda. Guduchi (Tinospora Cordifolia) used for our Extrapone® is mainly collected and cultivated in India. Guduchi roots are harvested, cleaned and if necessary comminuted, dried and ethanol-aqueously extracted and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by evaporation and carefully spray-dried. The concentrated guduchi root extract is prepared in a mixture of water, glycerin and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Extrapone® Indian Berberine (Guduchi) GW contains the ethanol- and water soluble ingredients of approx. 300 g dried respectively of approx. 2250 g fresh guduchi root.
