Odor: characteristic
Use: Extrapone® Peppermint contains the extract of Mentha piperita L. leaves prepared in water and propylene glycol. Peppermint used for our Extrapone® is mainly cultivated in Germany and Egypt. The leaves are dried, if necessary comminuted, extracted with water and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation. The concentrated extract is prepared in a mixture of water, propylene glycol and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Extrapone® Peppermint contains the hydrophilic ingredients of approx. 20 g dried, resp. approx. 150 g fresh leaves. Dried plant material - Extrapone® Peppermint - ratio: 0.02 : 1. Fresh plant material - Extrapone® Peppermint - ratio: 0.15 : 1
