Apothecary roses (Rosa gallica L.) used for our Extrapone® are mainly cultivated in Pakistan. The flowers are harvested, cleaned and dried, aqueously extracted (maceration/percolation) and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation. The extract is prepared in water, glycerin and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Extrapone® Apothecary Rose GW contains the watersoluble ingredients of approx. 0.075 kg dried, respectively 0.55 kg fresh rose flowers.
