Odor: characteristic
Use: Saro is an aromatic evergreen tree that can reach up to 15 ft in height. Native to Madagascar, Saro's native name (in Malagasy) is Mandravasarotra, meaning "what keeps evil/illness away." It's commonly thought to help aid in respiratory, anti-bacterial, and immune deficiency issues. The clean, medicinal, Ravintsara-like aroma is reminiscent of a combination of Cajeput, Niaouli, and Tea Tree. Therefore, Saro can be a nice compliment to any Tea Tree or Sandalwood blend.
